BentBeat Productions is inviting songwriters and artists to submit simple, Christ-centered Christmas songs for a special holiday project focused on the wonder of Jesus’ birth. Original songs and fresh takes on traditional carols are welcome.
Submit a simple recording of a Christmas-themed song, just one instrument (piano, guitar, etc.) and a lead vocal (male or female). No need for full production; we’re listening for heart, melody, and message.
You can submit:
- A fresh
take on a traditional Christmas song
- An original Christmas song
We’re looking for songs that center around the birth of Christ, His arrival, His impact, and the wonder of the incarnation. Think worshipful, reflective, joyful, or storytelling.
What to Submit:
Please email the following by 11:59 PM on Monday, May 4th, 2026 (May the Fourth be with you!):
- A
simple audio recording (mp3 preferred)
- The
lyrics
- A chord sheet (PDF or doc is fine)
Send your entry with your contact info to: christmas@bentbeat.com
A Note on Song Choices:
We love the classics, but we’re unlikely to pick new versions of:
- Away in
a Manger
- O Come
All Ye Faithful
- Angels
We Have Heard on High
- God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
Unless you have a truly amazing, unique take, we’d recommend choosing something different, either a less common carol or an original.
Also, while we all enjoy Santa, reindeer, and snowmen, this project is focused on Christ-centered themes, so lean into the worship and wonder of the nativity.
We’re really hoping you’ll put your heart and energy into one strong submission, but if you just can’t decide, you may submit up to two songs for consideration.
We'll be listening for
authenticity, lyrical creativity, and whether your song fits the tone and
message of a Christmas album focused on Jesus’ birth. Selected songs may be
invited for further production and possible release!
So, warm up the cocoa, get
those ideas flowing, and let’s make something beautiful together.
Cheering
you on,
Dave & Kelly and the
BentBeat Productions Team
